BOOK A TAROT READING

DRAW A CARD

The Tarot is a deck of 78 cards rich in symbolism and archetypes, serving as a tool for self-reflection and understanding life’s complexities. It doesn’t predict a fixed future but illuminates present situations and potential paths.
The process triggers the sub-conscious to reveal answers that may be otherwise hidden, prompting action and resolve to current matters and situations.
Ultimately, the Tarot acts as a mirror, reflecting inner wisdom and providing guidance by interpreting the symbolic language of the cards. It’s a tool for gaining deeper insights into ourselves and the energies surrounding us.
We can integrate tarot with other practices to provide a real sense of clarity and direction rooted in our own intuition.
Lets take a quick look at the cards. The deck comprises two main parts:
- The Major Arcana: These 22 cards represent significant life lessons, major turning points, and universal themes. Each card carries a powerful energy and speaks to the broader journey of the self.
- The Minor Arcana: These 56 cards depict the more everyday aspects of life and are divided into four suits:
- Wands: Represent passion, energy, creativity, action, and ambition.
- Cups: Embody emotions, relationships, intuition, and love.
- Swords: Symbolize intellect, logic, truth, communication, and challenges.
- Pentacles: Represent the material world, finances, career, health, and security.
Each suit in the Minor Arcana includes numbered cards (Ace through Ten), illustrating the progression of the suit’s energy, and four court cards: Page (potential), Knight (action), Queen (embodiment), and King (mastery).
In a Tarot reading, cards are laid out in specific patterns called spreads. The position of each card within the spread adds context and meaning to its interpretation, revealing different facets of the situation being explored, such as challenges, influences, or potential outcomes.
